Dysentery In 7 Days To Die, Explained
Dysentery is primarily induced by consuming contaminated food or water such as murky water, old sham sandwiches, and raw meat. Although consuming these items does not guarantee that the players will get dysentery, there's a probability that they might. However, dysentery, like all other debuffs in the game, is easily treatable with drugs or specific items.
The dysentery debuff lasts 60 minutes in-game time. Although dysentery will initially have little effect on the player's health, it will gradually decrease the player's hunger and hydration every second by 0.5 and 1.5, respectively. This can cause a number of issues for the player, including dehydration, hunger, and death.
How To Cure Dysentery In 7 Days To Die
There are several ways in which dysentery can be treated in 7 Days to Die. The two main ways are to drink Goldenrod Tea or Pure Mineral Water.
How To Get Goldenrod Tea In 7 Days To Die
Consuming Goldenrod Tea may help players heal dysentery during the early stages of the debuff. This recipe can only be unlocked by reading Home Cooking Weekly 4/100.
Goldenrod tea is created by combining x1 Water and x1 Goldenrod Flower. To prepare Goldenrod Tea, you need to first build a campfire and find a Cooking Pot. The major ingredient for this dish, the Goldenrod Flower, may be found in forests. It is yellow in color — seek yellow blooms on the ground in forests to collect Goldenrod Flowers.
How To Get Pure Mineral Water In 7 Days To Die
Pure Mineral Water can be produced with x1 Water, x1 Goldenrod Flower, x1 Coal, and x1 Chrysanthemum Flower after discovering and reading Wasteland Treasures Vol. 4.
The first component, Water, must be purified from Murky Water with a Campfire and Cooking Pot. Next, you may acquire Coal by chopping down burnt trees in the Burnt Forest biome — or extracting it from Coal Ore. If you are lucky, you can also find Coal inside the oven when looting houses. Finally, Chrysanthemum Flowers can be discovered on the ground in forest areas.

Once the Vitamin has been consumed, the boost lasts 12 minutes, allowing players to drink Murky Water or eat Raw Meat without fear of contracting dysentery.
Vitamins may be obtained by stealing Pop N Pills, which are mostly found in towns and cities. Aside from the shops, you may locate many medicinal boxes or supplies when looting residences or hospital locations in 7 Days to Die, some of which may include Vitamins if you are lucky.
