The Central Board of Secondary Education conducted a Central Eligibility test including two papers: Paper 1 & 2, each carrying 150 marks. The exam was conducted at 136 cities in India, and more than 25 lakh candidates have appeared for this national-level examination. Candidates who have appeared in this examination are waiting to cross-check their answers. As per the previous year’s observations, it is expected that CTET Answer Key 2024 will be released by the end of July 2024 at https://ctet.nic.in/. The response sheet pdf will be released separately for both Paper I and II, candidates will need to download their respective answer keys with the help of roll number and date of birth.

CTET Answer Key 2024

As CTET Papers 1, and 2 have been completed, the candidates have shared that the examination level of both papers was easy to moderate. The first section of papers 1 and, 2 i.e. Child Development and Pedagogy, and questions from the Hindi language were easy as per the discussion with the candidates. There were four sections in CTET Question Paper 2 i.e. I, J, K, and L, and set D in Paper 1. The authorities will publish the CTET 2024 Answer Key including correct answers to the questions provided in the question paper, helping candidates evaluate their exam performances.

CTET 2024 Answer Key

The CTET Paper II was conducted from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm and Paper II from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm. A separate answer key will be published for both shifts of examination and candidates need to log in to check correct answers for the respective set. The link to download official response sheet for the CTET July 2024 examination will be activated by the Central Board of Secondary Education by the end of July 2024. Once activated, we will share a direct link to download CTET Answer Key 2024 here. The candidates will be able to download the answer key for papers I and II with the help of a link that will be shared soon. Steps to Download CTET 2024 Answer Key

To make it easier for candidates and help them download the official CTET 2024 answer key we have shared a complete step-by-step procedure to check and download your respective exam answer key.

1. Go to the official portal of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test i.e. https://ctet.nic.in/.

2. Find the link for “CTET Answer Key 2024” under the “Public Notice” section and click on it.

3. A new page will appear on the screen. Enter the roll number as provided in the admission certificate along with the date of birth and proceed further.

4. The response pdf for your respective paper (1 or 2) will appear on the screen.

5. Tap on the “Download” button or icon and check the correct answers.

CTET Answer Key 2024- Raise Objections

As soon as the CTET 2024 answer key is released for the July session, the authorities will open the objection-raising portal at the official website https://ctet.nic.in/. Those candidates who find any error/mistake in CTET Answer Key 2024 can submit their claims through this portal by paying fees of Rs. 1000/- per objection. The fees will only be paid through online mode: Debit Card/Credit Card/NetBanking/UPI. Along with the fee, some valid documents also need to be attached along with the objection raised by the candidate.

How to Calculate Marks in CTET Exam?

The candidates who appeared in the CTET July Exam today must be anxious to know how many marks they would have scored in the exam. Then you can follow the below procedure to calculate marks in the CTET Exam.

1. Once released, download the official CTET Answer Key for the subject you have appeared in.
2. Then cross-check your responses with the answers enlisted in the answer key pdf.
3. Now note down the number of correct answers and incorrect answers on a rough paper.
4. The total number of correct answers is the expected marks you could score.
5. There is no negative marking, therefore, counting the number of incorrect answers won’t be of any use.

The CTET Answer Key 2024 is not enough to evaluate the tentative score for the examination, candidates need to be aware of the marking scheme for this purpose.

CTET Marking Scheme 2024

After checking the answers, candidates need to assign 1 mark for the correct answer and at last sum up the marks to obtain the CTET 2024 score.

• In both paper I and II, candidates will be rewarded 1 mark for correct answers.
• There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
• General category candidates need to secure at least 60% marks to qualify and for other categories, 50% marks are required to qualify.

CTET 2024 Minimum Qualifying Marks

Candidates scoring minimum Qualifying Percentage/ score in the CTET Exam as set by the exam authority will be considered qualified in the CTET Exam 2024. Candidates from the general category will have to score a minimum of 60% (90 marks out of 150) and candidates from OBC, SC, ST, and PwD are required to score a minimum of 50% (82 marks out of 150).
